The Leopard

Our guide Mariki found us this extraordinary leopard lazing 15 feet above me on a limb of an Umbrella Tree. I sat here for one hour watching her; I don't think she looked at me one time. Mariki, my special guide in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater said they are often like that, not looking. He also said he thought it might not be wise to look a predator in the eye, you might see more than you wanted.

  1. These are some great photos. They remind of a feral cat I picked up in Hawaii!
