This is the mother of the bride in her home with the bride and the groom.
These small homes in the Kampung are about 150 to 300 square feet, and the families are usually extended with grand parents, nephews, nieces, and others. Most of the guests are sitting outside the home in the street where the music and dancing is continuing while we eat with the immediate family.
I am still overwhelmed by how generous these people were to 2 strangers off the street.
